Welcome to my blog, the tales, stories, and misadventures of an American living in Asia.  This is a travel blog written by an amateur, work-in-progress, accidental housewife.

A little about me – I started this blog to document our move to Japan at the end of 2015, when my husband was offered a two year transfer.  So I quit my job, packed up our two cats, and followed him on this journey.  Which brings me to here, writing my little heart out in my home base of Nagoya, Japan.  I have absolutely no prior blogging experience (or writing experience for that matter), but I enjoy sharing our story.  I’m a strong believer that life should be lived to the fullest and every day is an adventure…(yup I believe in the cliche)
